Sports Strategies announces a partnership between Pikes Peak APEX and Aravaipa Running that will expand the 4-day event to include running in 2022. Aravaipa Running will join with The APEX to invite runners to choose from three distance options – all starting and finishing in America the Beautiful Park on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Sports Strategies announces the first APEX Outdoor Festival & Expo at the 2021 Pikes Peak APEX presented by RockShox. Day 3 of The APEX will feature something for everyone, bringing together Colorado Springs locals, out of town visitors and APEX riders in America The Beautiful Park.

Not up for riding all 4 days, but still want to join the ride? New to mountain biking or maybe a bit timid? Sign up for the Off-road Fun Ride. For the beginner to intermediate rider, from middle school on up, we have two fabulous coaches to teach you fundamental mountain biking skills: Bobbie Kae Warner and Lisa Myklak.

We have a lot in store for Day 3 when we premiere the APEX Outdoor Festival & Expo at America The Beautiful Park on Saturday, September 25th.

We want to make sure there is something for everyone - all levels and all ages. We have invited Kids on Bikes to join us, and they will be offering up free family fun as well as skills clinics. We caught up with Mark Schenberger, Camp Manager, for a chat. Here's a glimpse of what to expect.
