More than 200 cyclists from across the country are taking part in a four-day mountain bike challenge at various locations in Colorado Springs and El Paso County. Several streets, parks, and trails will be impacted by Pikes Peak APEX going on Thursday through Sunday.

Four days of mountain-bike racing is coming to trails in the Colorado Springs area this week with stages contested at Palmer Park, Rampart Range Road, Gold Camp/Jones Park and the High Drive area.
Race organizers worked closely with the El Paso County Public Health Department and Centura Health/Penrose-St. Francis medical staff to make modifications aligned with the state's current public health order.
