2020 Stage 4 Recap from High Drive

Day Four: Sunday, September 27, 2020

High Drive

22.8 miles (17.8 miles timed), 3750 feet of elevation

The final day of the APEX will utilize the same start line and finish line from Stage Three.  Enjoy a bit of extra singletrack in Bear Creek before you conquer High Drive, one of the steepest climbs of the event.  A quick run down lower Captain Jacks gives riders a breather before crossing Gold Camp and cutting over to the Columbine Trail.  A final grunt up Buckhorn and a last time down Captain Jacks will finish of the week of racing.  While a bit shorter than Stage Two and Stage Three, don't underestimate this final day--it is a tough one!
