Come out and celebrate the outdoors!
The APEX Outdoor Festival & Expo will feature a full day of activities that celebrate outdoor recreation, beginning with the final stage of the highest profile mountain bike event on The Front Range - The Pikes Peak APEX presented by RockShox and The Pikes Peak APEX Run.
Festivities will begin at 8AM, when everyone gathers at the Start Line, below the bridge to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, to send the riders off to Cheyenne Canyon for Stage 4. Runners will follow, first Ultra participants, and then those running in the 10k and 5k. The fun will continue with a full day of activities for competitors and noncompetitors alike.
We're planning a day with something for everyone. This page is updated regularly with new information. Check back for updates.

Fat Tire Beer Garden
Dirty Kings are a Hard Rock band from Colorado Springs. ”. With older influences ranging from KISS, AC/DC and Thin Lizzy to the newer sounds of The Answer, Dirty Honey and Mothership, Dirty Kings are a well-tuned Hard Rock Powder Keg. Big guitars, powerful and soulful vocals, and a thunderous rhythm section all combine to create one of the area’s most volatile live acts.
Colorado based, WireWood Station came up with their name, loving the sounds that come from the Wire of their strings and the Wood of their instruments.
Members of WWS have toured internationally including stages in Europe, South America, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Red Rocks, Branson Theaters to Nashville Studios. WWS has opened for Charlie Daniels, BlackHawk, the Marshall Tucker Band and Dwight Yoakam to name a few.
